I’ve been quite lately, it’s just been life and work I guess…

I’ve made or reviewed more floodplains in the last few months than some people probably have in a few years!  I’m not complaining, it’s work and we have the backlog to keep me busy for quite a while.  I’m working, keeping busy and put some things to the side a little.  I’m happy to have a job and the bonus is I am still learning so that makes it better…  Getting ready to start on a new web based application for a client, so that should break the cycle a little . Then there is Access… the love for some, VBA hell for others.  I’ve built up a few databases in the past few weeks and it’s been fun to get back in there, but for some reason I like to get out of Access as fast as I can…

TGISF – Yes, I check in on it daily, but between work and family something had to give a little.  It’s running but things need to be better…  I plan on a regroup to happen soon.  New theme, out of beta (feel like Gmail) and some more daily attention.

Another item lost has been Twitter – to be honest, I haven’t missed it too much.  When you step back, look it over and get rid of it for a while – the friendships and relationship building is gone but as a whole it’s all the same when you look in after not being on for a couple of weeks.  Not saying I am totally giving up, but man it can take you time when you don’t control it.

After the long hours of work – the next thing comes family.  The little one is playing soccer right now and I got to watch her score her first goal last week!  You should have seen the smile on her face – Priceless!

I am sure I could add more to this, but just wanted to have a little something out there in case people are wondering…

A factory
 
I shot this picture from my iPhone yesterday while out with the family. Big steam plant is in front or Lucas Oil stadium. People try to argue that it doesn’t look like an old factory, but I disagree. Take a look at it from this angle, fits right in huh???

Today I Was actually able to spend some time with the family! We went to a farm and were able to get up close to some cows, chickens and bulls. It was a great time and a nice change from 70 hours at the office this week!!

FYI – these are on the side of our house taken with my phone – survived from out wedding 6 years ago and transplanted from our old house to our current one.

Wonderful day at the zoo and we happened upon feeding time for the giraffes today. Quite fun for the little one!!

Last night we were able to see this helicopter take off from less than 100 feet away. It was something I haven’t ever seen this close up – and my daughter really enjoyed it as well!
